Cassia Cafe is a plant-based cafe located in the bayside suburb of Mordialloc, less than 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. Focused on healthy, flavour-forward food, the cafe offers a relaxed alternative for locals seeking meals that feel good and taste even better.
BOYOHBOY Studio was engaged to develop a new brand identity that reflected Cassia Cafe’s fresh approach while sitting comfortably alongside its parent venue, Urban Ground Mordialloc. The goal was to create a distinct visual language that felt contemporary and welcoming, without overpowering the food or the space.
A considered system of colour and typography was introduced across all touchpoints, including signage, print collateral and digital applications. This flexible identity allows the brand to feel cohesive in-venue and online, while maintaining a calm, modern aesthetic.
The project also included the design and development of a new website that brings Cassia Cafe and Urban Ground together within a single digital experience. The result is a clear and cohesive presence that supports both brands while giving Cassia Cafe room to stand on its own.
